Security measures has been immediate for the infected rooms. These measures have been activated by a major's decree to debilitate the dangerous bacterium

Ministerial Decree of 12 April 1996 states that suction motors, extractor hoods and intake ducts must be free from grease and/or material that could catch fire.

With relation to the Italian regulation article 4.4.3. letter e) of Ministerial Decree 12 April 1996 states that “Approval of technical rules to prevent fires for planning, construction and functioning of thermal plants fuelled by gaseous fuels” (published in Official Gazette no. 103 on 4 May 1996, Ordinary Supplement) the hoods and the relative intake ducts require a reaction to fire class zero, i.e. the entire system must be “fireproof”.

This point is now peacefully and consistently interpreted by competent authorities in the sense that the entire suction motor-hood- ducts must be free from grease and/or other material that could catch fire.
